Child Safety Standards
Peeplo's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Zero tolerance
Peeplo has a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such content and behavior are strictly prohibited and are removed as soon as we become aware of them. We report apparent CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by law.
Adults-only service
Peeplo is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Minors are not permitted to create an account or use the service. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
How we prevent and act on abuse
- Content moderation: public content is moderated and inappropriate images are automatically detected.
- Reporting in one tap: any profile, message, marker or event can be blocked and reported directly inside the app.
- Account verification helps reduce fake accounts and abuse.
- Prompt action: reported content and accounts are reviewed, and violating accounts are restricted or removed.
- Cooperation with authorities: we preserve evidence of CSAE and cooperate with law enforcement and child-safety organizations.
